Hilja is a long pendant necklace on a beige faux suede cord. The name is Finnish — it means quiet, and the piece lives up to it.

The pendant is natural jade from China, where the stone has been worked for thousands of years. Up close, the multicoloured stone reveals a soft marbled pattern, green and grey moving through each other, neither fully one nor the other. From a distance, it reads as almost neutral. The white version is near-pure, with the same calm quality.
